New Mooseheads Owners Love Sitting In The Stands With The Fans!

Last night, the Simons spotted seated with the Mooseheads fans that attended Game 4 in Sherbrooke.

The new Halifax Mooseheads Owners Sam and Peter Simon have been seen in the stands with Halifax Mooseheads fans cheering on the Herd!

Since the father and son purchased the team in February from long-time owner Bobby Smith, they’ve been seen pretty much at every home game here in Moose Country, either sitting behind the Mooseheads bench or over behind the home penalty box, behind me, where I announce the Moose Games from.

The Simons have also been traveling with the Mooseheads during the Q League playoffs and have been sitting in with the fans at road games in Cape Breton and Moncton, while thanking fans for supporting the team.

The fans love that the Simons are in the crowds with them high fiving after every Mooseheads goal and being a part of Moosemania!

The Moose beat the Phoenix last night 5-2 on the road Thursday night.

Local Sherbrooke native Alex Doucet had two goals; Mathieu Cataford had two points to lead the Mooseheads for 1st Star, Tantallon’s Owen Phillips was 2nd Star with Mathis Rousseau the Herd’s goalie 3rd Star!

Game 5 is tomorrow, Saturday afternoon downtown at the Scotiabank Centre here in Moose Country, Game 6 will be Sunday night back in Sherbrooke.

The series winner between Halifax and Sherbrooke will face Patrick Roy and the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL Gilles Courteau Cup final.
