How the SGH Headquarters Transformed from an Office to a Collaboration & Innovation Hub

There’s no denying that the typical office environment has evolved over time. We live in an era where tech is king, culture is contagious and standing out from the crowd is crucial for success. In response to these new trends, we’re seeing more and more companies come up with creative, sometimes quirky ways to find their cultural identity.

But what about the companies that have lived and breathed their culture from the very beginning? Yes, it is challenging to keep up with the fast-paced, tech-driven, ever-evolving world that we live in, but if a strong culture and core values consistently remain at the center of an organization, growth and success almost become a reflex.

We admit, we too have jumped onboard the trendy train to help improve our surroundings, but for us, it’s more than just making our professional space look “cool.” SGH’s recent office enhancements highlight the culture and values we’ve prided ourselves on for over 32 years. We live by our core values and isms day-in and day-out, which is evident in how we do business. Now, we’re proud to display those words of wisdom throughout our Collaboration & Innovation Hub, reminding our team members and business partners that this is who we are. For SGH, culture isn’t a fad – it is our livelihood.

Because we know that in today’s world if you’re not moving forward, you’re going backwards, we have instilled a forward-thinking mentality in all of our team members. We never get comfortable, and we are always ready to make our next move. We mean it when we say we spend our days collaborating and innovating; it’s the only way we continue to move forward.

Tenacity and perseverance are inherent traits for our team members. We don’t take no for an answer, and we are always looking for a better way. Where others see road blocks, we see opportunities. We know that the road to success is not all rainbows and sunshine. We have learned that failure, though imperative for learning, is inevitable when you don’t have the right people in place. The majority of our success stories – along with success stories from many other reputable organizations – often focus on the people behind the achievement who rolled up their sleeves and did whatever it took to reach their goal.

Finally, we know that our best days are yet to come. We believe everything we have achieved thus far is merely preparation for what the future holds. We continue to grow and learn as a team, and we’re in it for the long haul.
